This Little Piggy.......

That pink piggy puppet is YOUR POLITICIAN- (any of 'em. All of 'em.) Elections are coming up again and the only thing certain is that MONEY WILL BE PULLING THE STRINGS.


I haven't added anything to this blog in some time, mostly because whenever I turn on the news, it's 98 percent horrifying bullshit, and the only way I can remain halfway sane is to keep my head down, find that small corner of life where I feel happiest, and STAY THERE.

The Obama presidency has been slogging through tar due to the Opposition Party throwing roadblocks every which way- (and now with this TEA PARTY BULLSHIT, and the aural diarrhea of voiceover political ads filled with 'the man or the woman next door, sic- "just like you and me, we hate this president") --the run-up to this mid-term election has seriously turned me off.

Nothing can move forward on a highway of constant roadblocks: the power-mongers are very good at obscuring truth and inciting fear in every quarter, be it the economy or the threat of foreign terrorists-- they've got that shit down pat.

Mr. and Mrs. Middle America are too damn frightened to do anything but cling to the guys with the BIG BUCKS, never suspecting they're being manipulated so those same fat cats can get even fatter. [FACT: While most of America is feeling economic hardship, there have been more millionaires created SINCE the economic meltdown, than at any time in history] --think about that.

Bush and Cheney and Rove created this nightmare, and now Obama can't make headway no how, no way -because the SAME POLITICAL MACHINERY HAS REMAINED IN PLACE. Believe it. (Oh, and I read this quote recently:

The big machinery has successfully either ground the changes needed to a halt, or created an atmosphere of disbelief and mistrust so dense that change will be slow in coming, if at all-- they are masters at that.

If this were the 60's, I'd say- "Turn off and turn on" but at this stage of life, I've simply turned off. Turned inward. Stuck the damn earplugs in my ears and shall let the rest of the madmen tear themselves to pieces. Politics, all politics, begin and end with lies. I've swilled enough slop for a lifetime. And if that prediction above holds true, I'll slit my own f*cking throat.)
