Make 'em LAUGH, Make 'em LAUGH

You know..... I was going to stay mum on this whole insurance CEO scandal since EVERYBODY seems to be covering it (even the DAILY NEWS UK....even KDKA) but reports today that the two 'fraternizing parties' (to put it delicately) have now sought legal counsel in order to bring suit against their employer for 'sexual' and or 'age' discrimination, and perhaps 'discrimation of women in the workplace' as well, begs someone to be running some interference.

WTF??? LOL!!!!!

(Are THIS YEAR'S 'DARWIN AWARDS' sewn up yet?)

That kind of cheek is all it took for me want to join in and add my OWN contribution to this ridiculousness.

Therefore, I am offering this parody song

(Sung to the tune of 'Sweet Leilani')

If you are unfamiliar with this old tune, here's a Mantovani youtube to help you to get the melody into your head.

The cheat Melani

He hired his honey

Though they were wed to different people

He thought their love was in a deep hole

Safe from the light of day.

But to Melani

Things sure turned funny

-He didn't trust his hot young mistress

He thought her actions were suspicious

And so he had her tailed.

He learned his angel

Had been entangled

A time or two before he met her

And feared her husband would do better

At putting up with her.

And though her hubby

Was kind of chubby

Melani thought she might be slipping

Back to her house to have a dipping

In hubby's love again.

Melani's hunches

Soon led to punches

Police and newsmen had a field day

His wife and sister joined the melee

(He knew his goose was cooked.)

"It's just my money!"

Said cheat Melani

"I lost my job, my reputation

My CEO to your gyrations-

I am one stupid man."

I just figured that this so-called "news story" should be shown in light of the farce it is. When does an institution built on the public's trust NOT have the right to cut loose a high-profile executive who makes a complete ASS of himself?

If ROYALLY FAULTY JUDGEMENT is not 'cause' for dismissal when handling billions of dollars, what is???

Ok.

Back to the laughter.

(With THIS elephant in the room... it's the only response that makes sense.)
